The term 'instant classic' gets thrown around a lot, and yet it's kind of an oxymoron. A film or a show can be a hit upon its release. But that doesn't necessarily make it a classic yet. It's going to have to endure some time to decipher if it will be labeled as one. With society in a new decade and another one fresh behind us, it's good to take a look at some things that have passed by us and wonder if they're now going to be classics.
