The Expendables' latest sequel had its worst opening yet, only making $8.3 million domestically, while The Nun II dominated with $8.4 million.
The fall cinema season started off on a disappointing note, with the worst box office weekend of the year, only bringing in $49.1 million.
Critics and moviegoers alike were unimpressed, with Expend4bles receiving a low 16% Tomatometer rating and a 'B-' CinemaScore.
